Mobile Threat Monday: Fake AdBlock App Infiltrates Google Play

Analysts at Malwarebytes suspect that using AdBlock in the name of the app may have drawn Google’s attention, as the popular ad suppression app has been banned from Android for some time. Google eventually got wise to this fake app and pulled it from the store, even deleting the cached copy from Google’s servers.
