Adobe Investigates Fresh And Fishy Flash ‘Zero Day’

According to the Malware Don’t Need Coffee blog, the zero day affects the latest version of Flash on various Windows operating systems, including XP and 7. The latest Windows OS, 8.1, appears to be immune, as does the latest version of Flash on Windows 8, though an exploit on older editions of the Adobe software did work, according to the blog. Security company Malwarebytes told Forbes the zero day was genuine, but confirmation has not yet come from Adobe, which will likely notify the public soon on what needs updating and when it plans to push out a fix.
