Malwarebytes Launches Major Push into EMEA enterprise market

Silicon Valley headquartered cybersecurity firm invests significantly in staff and infrastructure, and launches channel programme to support EMEA drive

INFOSECURITY CONFERENCE, LONDON: June 1, 2015 – Advanced end-point security vendor Malwarebytes today launches a major push into the EMEA enterprise market which will see nearly 100 employees in the region by the end of the year and the launch of an aggressive channel programme. Malwarebytes, which opened offices in Cork last month, is investing heavily to grow sales, marketing, support and associated technological functions.

Malwarebytes intends to sell through a two-tier distribution model. To oversee this rapid growth, Paul Judd has joined from Lastline as UK Sales Director. At Malwarebytes, he will be tasked with building a sales team to target key market sectors, such as finance and education as well as recruiting enterprise class resellers.

Malwarebytes has built a strong reputation as a provider of advanced endpoint protection, helping counter the threat from today’s pervasive next-generation threats, which are designed to steal sensitive data and destroy company value. Some of the largest organisations in the world currently use the company’s award winning technology.

Anthony O’Mara, Vice President, Sales, EMEA at Malwarebytes, said: “Malwarebytes is growing fast because we lead the way in Zero Day Threat protection, where established vendors continue to fail. We see the channel as an essential part of that journey to growth and look forward to building new and expanding existing relationships.”

Malwarebytes will be attending Infosecurity Europe from 2 – 4 June, 2015. The company will be exhibiting at stand E185.
