Malwarebytes grows out of downtown San Jose as demand for virus protection soars

When security software company Malwarebytes leased about 20,000 square feet in downtown San Jose a couple of years ago, the office was so capacious that workers took to playing football in one wing of the floor.

Fast forward to last week, and CEO and co-founder Marcin Kleczynski is so short on space, he was planning to squeeze desks into the company’s current “all-hands” area.
