Malwarebytes Invests in its People, Hires Camellia Ngo as Chief People Officer

Ngo’s career portfolio includes ushering the people of numerous businesses through accelerated growth, IPO process

SANTA CLARA, Calif.– October 3, 2018Malwarebytes™, the leading advanced endpoint protection and remediation solution, today announced the appointment of Camellia Ngo to the position of Chief People Officer. Ngo brings more than 20 years’ experience to this important role through a career that spans international business, insurance, and employment law.

Prior to joining Malwarebytes, Camellia served as Chief People Officer at Tintri, an enterprise cloud storage provider, from where she built and scaled the people organization from private to public company readiness. Before that, she served as SVP of Human Resources at Affymetrix, a biotechnology life science molecular diagnostic company. From 2000-2011, she served as Vice President of Human Resources at Magma Design Automation (acquired by Synopsys), where she contributed to the company’s high growth from pre-IPO to more than 1,000 employees globally. Camellia also held leadership roles in compensation consulting, and practiced international law and business.

Ngo holds a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley in Organizational Development Psychology, and a Juris Doctorate from University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She is an alumna of Stanford Graduate School of Business, Human Resources for Strategic Advantage program.
