ACA Pacific Partners with Malwarebytes to Effectively Combat Regional Cyberthreats

ACA Pacific becomes a Malwarebytes partner for resellers in Singapore and Malaysia to support the regions’ growing security needs

November 16, 2022 – ACA Pacific Singapore and Malaysia (ACA Pacific Group), an established IT marketing and value-added distributor in the Asia-Pacific region, has partnered with MalwarebytesTM, a global leader in real-time cyber protection, to bring industry-leading cloud-based security and cyber protection solutions to the region. With ransomware and phishing attacks on the rise in Malaysia and Singapore, ACA Pacific Group will offer Malwarebytes’ easy-to-manage and affordable solutions that reduce the risk of cyber-attacks.

The distribution agreement allows regional Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to bolster their client’s cybersecurity capabilities, through leveraging the Malwarebytes Nebula cloud platform (Incident Response, Endpoint Protection & Endpoint Detection and Response) and add-on prevention modules (Vulnerability Assessment, Vulnerability & Patch Management and DNS Filtering) in one centralised cloud management portal. Through the partnership VARs will be able to offer Malwarebytes solutions in local currency, enabling them to boost revenues and reinvest savings back into their business.

“APAC has strong growth potential, and we could not be happier to announce this new relationship with ACA Pacific,” says Matthew Gleeson, APAC Sales Manager at Malwarebytes. “With the channel at the centre of our overall growth strategy, this is another step to providing our market-leading solutions to more business customers in the region.”

When discussing the new partnership, Craig Gledhill, CEO of ACA Pacific group, said,”Malwarebytes is known for finding and cleaning up the malware that other solutions miss. By adding expanded prevention capabilities to its unmatched detection and remediation, the company becomes the perfect addition to our portfolio of hand-picked solutions for VARs to protect their customers while building a profitable business.”

“We are thrilled to partner with ACA Pacific and bring our cloud-based security and cyber protection solutions to Asia Pacific VARs,” said Philip Walsh, Channel Accounts Sales Leader (APAC & EMEA) at Malwarebytes. “With the threat landscape constantly evolving and the increasing prominence of ransomware, Malwarebytes’ endpoint protection and incident response solutions will enable ACA Pacific’s reseller community to better support organizations in managing risk and combatting malware at scale.”
