Malwarebytes has added mobile security to its OneView platform. The move allows MSPs to safeguard Chromebooks, Android and iOS devices against the latest mobile threats such as ransomware and malicious apps.

MSPs can now use the Malwarebytes OneView multitenant platform to monitor their customers’ mobile phones and tablets alongside their servers, workstations and laptops. With real-time protection, MSPs also can prevent accidental access to harmful websites, safeguard against malicious apps, block unwanted in-app ads and enable a secure mobile experience for their customers.

Brian Kane, Malwarebytes‘ director of global MSP programs, said his company launched the OneView platform a few years ago to meet the needs of its MSP customers.

“The beauty of the streamlined platform is how we can easily add on additional protection modules, such as mobile security,” he said. “MSPs can deploy, manage and report on the full portfolio of Malwarebytes solutions from the OneView console. We understand that the channel requires streamlined and simplified solutions to keep pace with skyrocketing costs and the complexities of managing multiple solutions. Our focus for the Malwarebytes platform is to make it easy to buy, deploy, use and manage.”

OneView, with Mobile Security, Reduces Complexity

Bringing all Malwarebytes products together under a single pane of glass, the OneView platform reduces complexity through a guided user interface, next-generation threat intelligence and seamless integrations, Kane said.

“With additional threat prevention modules and services such as DNS filtering and managed detection and response (MDR), partners can offer the right product or service to each customer, tailored to their specific needs,” he said. “This gives them an opportunity to better serve their customers and build more revenue opportunities.”

Over the last year, Malwarebytes continued to focus on securing resource–constrained organizations through partnerships with MSPs. The company recently added new strategic partnerships with Achab, BeMSP, Pax8, Zaltor and more. Malwarebytes also recently added its MSP solutions to its distribution deal with TD Synnex.

“Two main things are driving the growth of the Malwarebytes’ MSP program,” Kane said. “First, Malwarebytes has significantly invested in the channel with offerings that include sales and technical training, tools, certifications and marketing resources. We are committed to the space and lead with a partner-first mindset. Second is our award-winning efficacy. We’re known for just working and that is incredibly powerful for our partners who may be managing hundreds or thousands of sites. They need a product that provides a single-pane-of-glass view into their sites, blocks threats that others miss, and if something gets through, flags the alert and provides easy steps for remediation.”

Malwarebytes plans to continue to add additional security and threat protection modules so MSPs can better serve their customers, he said.
